This series is done with a pinhole camera. Basically a small box with film inside and only a small pinhole sized hole for a “lens.” These is only a small cover over the hole which is removed to allow light in and then closed again to stop the exposure.

This is a single exposure photograph taken through the corner of a glass building at South Street Seaport. The reflections and various levels give a sense that several exposures were taken to achieve this effect.
