Art Restoration – Painting and photo repair and restoration in North Carolina, serving the Southport area, including Wilmington, St. James, Oak Island, Bald Head Island, and Myrtle Beach, and beyond.

Restoration of photographs is an art form in and of itself. We’re proud of the restorations we have performed here at Strazza Gallery and our customers are delighted when they see their photographs brought back to life. We have restored very valuable photographs and we have also restored photos the value of which is found in more sentimental ways.

We restore: old photographs that have become brittle, faded, torn, water damaged, and more. We usually digitally restore photographs using high end digital scanning process of re-photographing old or damaged photographs. We then print the repaired photograph using very high quality cotton papers and archival process suitable for most restorations.

Wedding Photograph Restored

This beautiful 16 x 20 photograph came to us recently and it really needed some help, as you can see. It had turned yellow, and had some pretty bad water damage. It was also mounted on a board that was very brittle, and it could not be flattened at all or it would...

This beautiful portrait came to us in great need or restoration. It had mistakenly been stepped on, and broken into several pieces. We had to re-photograph the photograph with as much of the broken pieces in place and restore the rest digitally. This is a high end...
